  Texas is having a serious cold spell.  Sea turtles caught in the suddenly colder waters are suffering from cold stunning. They are in danger and people are out there in the cold rescuing them.

  You have to admire the people who are out there in the cold pulling turtle from freezing waters and rushing them to a place where they could be looked after.  I just hope after all this effort that most of the turtles make it. At least they have a chance.

  I saw how cold it is in your part of the world,those poor turtles.

  This is in Texas right near Mexico. They don't get cold like this so they are not prepared for it. The Gulf of Mexico normally has warm water. The turtles would not have had time to go further south. Without rescue most of the turtles would have died. I am still impressed by the people out there in the cold rescuing turtles. That would have been really cold for them, especially when people went into the water to rescue a turtle.
